Mr. Sopan Nangare Secures Top 5 Position among Indian Contenders for Science Scholar Awards 2023

In a remarkable achievement, Mr. Sopan Namdev Nangare, a PhD Research Scholar, has been shortlisted as one of the Top Five candidates in India for the prestigious Sun Pharma Science Foundation - Science Scholar Awards 2023 in Pharmaceutical Sciences. This distinguished nomination was conferred upon him by Padmashree Awardee, Dr. Virander Singh Chauhan (Arturo Falaschi Emeritus Scientist, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, New Delhi). Mr. Nangare has received this esteemed recognition for his exceptional PhD research work conducted under the guidance of Prof. P. O. Patil. His research, which has garnered significant acclaim, holds the fifth position among India's leading institutes such as IIT, BITS, IISC, and AIIMS. Notably, for his groundbreaking PhD research, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has provided a grant of 32 lakhs INR. The outcomes of Mr. Nangare's PhD research are indeed impressive.
